An exciting hire desk controller apprenticeship position is now available at our Vertikal head office in Scunthorpe.
Full training will be given on the following hire desk controller duties:
🟢 Responding to customer enquiries about access, plant, machinery and tool hire
🟢 Developing professional relationships with internal and external clients
🟢 Setting up customer hire contracts using our bespoke software packages
🟢 Negotiating costs and preparing invoices
🟢 General administration
Learning new skills and participating in other areas of our business
🟢 Maintaining and exceeding company targets
The following skills are desirable:
🔸 Friendly, polite and outgoing manner with good communication skills
🔸 Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
🔸 Good Computer Skills and the ability to learn new software packages
🔸 Ability to work well in a team
🔸 Organised and motivated
🔸 General administration skills.
🔸 Commitment to continual personal and professional development
